We are seeking a strategic, driven, and collaborative Project Director, Online Services and Digital Workstream to lead one of the most visible and impactful components of our multi-year Claims Journey to the Cloud transformation. This role is responsible for delivering an intuitive and accessible digital experience for claims customers through the modernization and redesign of our online services.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Customer and Channel Experience, and with a dotted-line relationship to the Vice President, Claims Transformation, the Project Director will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the digital and Service Design workstreams. This includes close coordination with Claims Transformation team, IT partners, vendors, and impacted groups to ensure alignment with our human-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and program outcomes.
This role will lead a team of Product Managers, Service Designers, Design Researchers, and UX Analysts - working closely with workstream leads across the program to ensure a cohesive, end-to-end transformation. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership skills, expertise in digital product delivery and service design, and a passion for improving public service through modern, human-centered design.
Report on project milestones and risks/issues to Project Sponsors and consult with them on new initiatives that will impact strategic direction.
Provide highly detailed complex analysis to facilitate management decision-making. Prepare and present analysis, conclusions, and recommendations to Executive Committee and/or Board of Directors, and sub-committees as required.
Provide guidance and mentoring to project team members. Monitor and control assignments of staff and carry out quality reviews of work efficiency based on project management plans.
