Position: Project Director

Site: Toronto General Hospital

Department: UHN Connected Care

Reports to: Sr. Director, UHN Connected Care

Salary: Commensurate with experience and UHN policy

Hours: 37.5 per week

Status: Permanent Full-Time (contingent on funding)

Connected Care is a strategic business unit focused on developing innovative models of care, emphasizing transformative patient experiences and system change. The initial focus will be on leading the expansion of the NORC model of care across Ontario.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the expansion of care models, managing stakeholder engagement, and monitoring impact.
  2. Designing, implementing, and evaluating local efforts with a focus on system-level change.
  3. Owning initiatives throughout their lifecycle, ensuring milestones and budgets are met.
  4. Developing strategic partnerships and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
  5. Managing project plans, risks, issues, budgets, procurement, and team capacity.
  6. Providing recommendations and supporting teams on initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Health Administration, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 6-10 years healthcare project and management experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Change Management Certification assets.
  • Clinical operations experience required.
  • Proven success in managing complex projects in public health settings.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and multitasking skills.
