Job summary

Graham Contracting, Ltd. seeks a Project Coordinator to support the Oilsands Industrial Division. The role reports to the Project Manager and focuses on coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control for on-site projects.

Based in Fort McMurray with travel from Edmonton on rotation, you will work across construction sites and offices to keep projects on track while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Trade Certification or Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 2–5 years of direct industrial construction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, scheduling and project management software; familiarity with construction project systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities including scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and cost control.
• Support change management and reporting; track change events and prepare notices for the Project Manager.
• Maintain HSEQ compliance, safety plans, and QA/QC records; monitor KPIs and NCRs as needed.
• Assist with financial & cost controls: cost reporting, payroll coding, and cost allocations.
• Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships; support project close-out surveys.

Graham is actively recruiting for a Project Coordinator supporting the Oilsands Industrial Division. Reporting to the ProjectManager, the Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting project teams through coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control.

This role is based in Fort McMurray. We are open to local candidates or candidates based in Edmonton with travel on rotation.

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site

• Coordinate Daily Project Activities:Support scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and cost control tasks. Maintain and update drawings, revisions, site instructions, and change orders
• Support Change Management & Reporting:Track change events, prepare notices, and report updates to the Project Manager. Compile data for progress reports and executive/project steering updates
• Maintain HSEQ Compliance:Contribute to safety plan development and keep safety and QA/QC records up to date. Monitor HSE and quality KPIs, review surveillance findings, and initiate NCRs whererequired
• Assist with Financial & Cost Controls:Support cost reporting systems and monitor cost accruals. Record change orders and verify proper payroll coding and cost allocation
• Build and Maintain Client & Stakeholder Relationship: Communicate professionally with clients and support strong working relationships. Complete client satisfaction surveys during project close-out

The Right Tools for the Job

• Education: Trade Certification or Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Experience: 2–5 years of direct industrial construction experience
• Skills:Proficiency with MS Office,schedulingand project management software; familiarity with construction project systems, practices, and processes (InEightexperience is an asset)
