Job summary

Graham, a leading North American general contractor, is seeking a Planner & Scheduler to support the Planning & Scheduling function within the Industrial Division. Reporting to the Senior Planner & Scheduler, this role develops and maintains master schedules for medium‑ to high‑complexity projects across our portfolio.

You will drive performance, identify schedule risks, lead updates, and collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams to keep projects on track and compliant with

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Planning / Scheduling experience in buildings, industrial, civil, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience on at least one full project lifecycle and multiple delivery methods (EPC, Design-Build, CM, PPP, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project master schedules for medium- to high‑complexity projects.
  • Establish baselines by coordinating with clients, consultants, and project teams.
  • Prepare schedule updates and performance reporting, including Earned Value metrics and variance analysis.
  • Identify schedule risks and drive corrective actions.
  • Support delay analysis and change management activities.

Graham is actively recruiting for a Planner & Scheduler to support the Planning & Scheduling function within the Industrial Division. Reporting to the Senior Planner & Scheduler, this role plays a critical part in developing and maintaining project schedules that support the successful delivery of medium‑ to high‑complexity construction projects across our portfolio.


You will help drive performance, mitigate schedule risks, and enable teams to make informed decisions that keep projects on track.

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site

  • Develop and maintain project master schedulesfor medium‑ to high‑complexity projects using Critical Path Method in accordance with contract requirements and company best practices
  • Establish baseline schedulesby collaborating with clients, consultants, and project teams to define durations, milestones, constraints, and third‑party interfaces
  • Prepare and lead schedule updates and performance reporting, including cash flow alignment, Earned Value metrics, S‑curves, milestone trends, heatmaps, and variance analysis
  • Identify schedule risks and drive corrective actions, including mitigation planning, resequencing strategies, and “what‑if” scenario modelling to support informed project decisions
  • Support delay analysis and change management, integrating risk registers, productivity reviews, and contributing to time‑impact assessments, schedule change management, and cash‑flow evaluations

The Right Tools for the Job

  • Education:Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Skills:Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office, Knowledge of delay analysis methods, Ability to interpret risk registers and productivity data, Experience with project scheduling software (MS Project, Tilos, Powerproject, etc.) is an asset
  • Experience:5+ yearsof Planning / Scheduling experience in buildings, industrial, civil, or infrastructure projects. Experience onat least one full project lifecycle(initiation to close‑out). Experience acrossmultiple delivery methods(EPC, Design‑Build, CM, PPP, etc.)
