Job summary

G&E Contracting LP in Victoria, BC is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join the Langford yard team. This full-time role supports Project Managers with day-to-day requirements, manages documentation, schedules, and coordination across sites throughout the local area.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, have 2–3 years in construction or project administration, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of hands-on construction or project administration experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Project Managers with day-to-day project requirements
• Managing project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs and submittals
• Issuing purchase orders and subcontracts as required
• Creating, updating and maintaining project schedules
• Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams
• Attending site and project meetings as required
• Assisting with tendering and bid preparation
• Tracking project costs, timelines and deliverables
• Supporting general project administration and reporting

  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

An exciting opportunity exists at G&E Contracting LP for a Construction Project Coordinator. This is a full-time position based out of G&E’s Langford yard in Victoria, with jobsites throughout the local area. The position reports to the Project Management team.
