Qualifications

What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will support project, ECI, and estimating activities. Responsibilities include managing project documentation, RFIs, project trackers, quantity takeoffs, RFPs, subcontractor management, change management, and document control. Other duties involve general coordination tasks.

The current project location is Toronto, ON. The role involves working remotely, in-office, and on-site during various project stages.

What You'll Do Here:
  • Assist the Project Manager with coordinating functions and processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with ECI projects and new projects as needed.
  • Manage changes, update schedules, and plans.
  • Support estimating activities, including RFPs, quantity takeoffs, and tracking deliverables.
  • Maintain project documentation and folders.
  • Prepare and track change notices and orders.
  • Attend and document project meetings and conference calls.
  • Generate and track RFIs.
  • Report on site hours worked by employees.
  • Adhere to company policies and safe work practices.
What You Bring to the Team:
  • Technical college diploma, engineering degree, or related experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, preferably in electrical sector.
  • Understanding of estimating, forecasting, and change management.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across remote, office, and site environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Project; experience with Hard Dollar and SAP is an asset.
  • Self-motivated, organized, accurate, and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Champion of inclusion and diversity.
