What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the Senior Project Coordinator provides support on large complex projects and may lead small to medium projects supporting the HR Shared Services PMO. The role includes end-to-end management of small projects or medium workstreams, facilitation, documentation, reports, dashboards, presentations, and other opportunities. Additionally, this role will provide business support (e.g., reporting, analytics) and project implementation support to HR Shared Services for enterprise, HR, and LOB initiated projects.

At CIBC, we enable a work environment most conducive to your success. You’ll have flexibility within a hybrid work arrangement, spending 1-3 days per week on-site, with the rest remote. Specifics will be discussed during your interview.

How you’ll succeed
  1. Project Coordination – Create and manage work breakdown structures, develop schedules, monitor resource allocation, and control project timelines and quality to ensure successful delivery.
  2. Reporting and Tracking – Track progress, manage risks and issues, reconcile financials, and develop analytics. Create dashboards and presentations for HR partners.
  3. Relationship Management – Act as the primary liaison with internal partners to guide project and program execution.
