Project Coordinator, Full-time
Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO), Marotta Family Hospital St Catharines site
Hours of work: 75 Hours per pay period
Position Objective
The Strategy and ePMO team are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Coordinator who has a passion for project management, demonstrates the core values of Niagara Health (NH) and thrives in being part of a team that is committed to service excellence.
Your project coordination experience and project management knowledge will play an important role in transforming patient care through the delivery of Niagara Health's strategic and operational projects. Your Role: Reporting to the Manager of the ePMO, you will work in alignment with team members including project managers, project coordinators and change management specialist to support the delivery of the projects and initiatives assigned to the portfolio. There is a balance of support for the key functions of the ePMO office as well as coordinating and leading project-based activities as part of the project team.

Responsibilities:
o Supporting the core functions of the ePMO including centralized project intake, project prioritization, project reporting, KPI reporting and resource management
o Support ePMO team meetings with agenda preparation and following up on action items
o Improve ePMO office efficiencies through the creation of new or improved processes and workflows
o Coordinate and lead project activities alongside Project Managers including project delivery and change management deliverables during all project phases
o Develop, maintain and promote the organizational resource library of Project Management tools and templates that support our best practice Project Management methodology across the organization
o Support scheduling, preparation and delivery of project management workshops for NH leaders and teams
o Applying the NH project management framework to independently lead small departmental projects that require coordination rather than full project management rigor
Key Skills and Experience
o Strong personal organizational skills to ensure continued alignment of assigned work with team and organizational priorities
o Ability to work confidently and effectively within a multi-disciplinary project team
o Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to remove obstacles and achieve goals
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Expertise in implementing new processes and/or procedures to improve efficiencies including identifying measures of success
o Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and remain comfortable amid change and uncertainty
o Fosters a positive, inclusive and productive work environment
o Technically proficiency with the ability to learn new systems, processes and software
o Proactively manages tasks and takes ownership of deliverables
o Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume and diverse workload with rapidly changing priorities while maintaining high quality of work
o Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Qualifications
o Community College or University degree specializing in business, project management or a health-related field
o Project Management Certification (CAPM) would be considered an asset
o A minimum of three years project coordinator experience on large/complex projects
o Advanced computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Forms
o Demonstrated experience in creating and managing SharePoint sites
o Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and learning
o Excellent attendance record
o Valid driver's license and access to vehicle for multi-site hospital travel
