Pomerleau is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Building team. You will work with the project team to coordinate activities on large-scale projects, from planning to completion. The role emphasizes organization, safety, and collaboration with suppliers and trade partners.

You will review shop drawings, RFIs, PO changes, and project documents, while supporting meetings and ensuring HS&E standards are followed across the site. Geographical mobility is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering or equivalent.
• Proven initiative and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel or relocate as required.
• Experience coordinating large-scale construction projects is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the project team with coordination and project support.
• Maintain, review, and follow-up on shop drawings, RFIs, PO changes, and project docs.
• Collect, review, and analyze project quotes to obtain best prices.
• Attend and document project meetings, emphasize their importance.
• Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environmental Protection on the project.
• Apply safety standards to promote HS&E compliance with workers and trade partners.

As a Project Coordinator working in the Building team at Pomerleau Construction, you will collaborate with the project team to coordinate all activities related to the project. Working on large-scale projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will have the opportunity to solve various technical problems and communicate with various stakeholders.

What you will do:

• Assist the project team with coordination and project support.
• Utilize your passion for organization through maintenance, review and follow-up of shop drawings, RFI’s, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents.
• Effectively collect, review and analyze project quotes with emphasis on obtaining the very best prices in the market.
• Assemble, attend, document and emphasize the importance of project meetings.
• Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environmental Protection on the project.
• Effectively apply the requirements of the project specific safety standards to promote Pomerleau’s HS&E standards, applicable OH&S acts, regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on the project.
