Job summary

Golderado Contracting Corporation is seeking a Project Coordinator to support civil construction projects across Canada, with focus in Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan. The role will center on coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project administration, and generating daily activity reports.

Occasional travel, evenings and weekends may be required to meet project deadlines. The position offers health benefits, RRSP, a pension plan and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Civil or Construction Engineering diploma or degree with 1–2 years of civil construction experience.
• Strong background in heavy civil earthworks, road building and underground utilities preferred.
• Travel is required; a valid driver's license is required.
• A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained within 30 days before start date.
• Team player with excellent people skills.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Proficient English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Primarily focused on coordinating subcontractors, such as traffic control, paving, gravel etc.
• Set up and maintenance of the project administration.
• Complete daily activity reports.
• Procurement and assistance in costing/estimating.
• Scheduling and Quality control.
• Technical Reviews, Constructability and Conflicts. Generating technical submittals.
• Safety and Loss Control Program.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other internal and external teammates to complete project deliverables, including business and/or technical writing and preparing materials for presentations.

Project Coordinator

Golderado Contracting Corporation ("Golderado") supplies skilled labour for construction projects across Canada, primarily in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, supporting clients such as PME Inc., Silverado Site Services, and EllisDon Industrial.

Key Information:

• Hours: Based on a 44-hour work week; however, overtime is required during the busy season.
• Short term contract: starting as soon as possible with an expected end date of November 15th, 2026.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when needed.
• Project Location: Ponoka
• Salary is dependent on experience.
