Job summary

Golderado Contracting Corporation is seeking a Project Coordinator to support pre-construction through construction readiness on civil projects across Canada. You will set up project administration, generate daily activity reports, assist with procurement and costing, and manage scheduling and quality control.

Travel is required; evenings and weekends may be needed during busy seasons. A Civil or Construction Engineering diploma or degree with 1–2 years of experience, a valid driver’s license,

• Strong background in heavy civil earthworks and road building.
• Proficient English language skills.

Project Coordinator

Golderado Contracting Corporation ("Golderado") supplies skilled labour for construction projects across Canada, primarily in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, supporting clients such as PME Inc., Silverado Site Services, and EllisDon Industrial.

Key Information:

• Hours: Based on a 44-hour work week; however, overtime is required during the busy season.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when needed.
• Project is scheduled to be completed at the end of October.
• Salary is dependent on experience.

Job Description:

• Work on projects in various pre-construction stages, such as design-build, project, development, and major projects and pursuits, to progress them to construction readiness.
• Set up and maintenance of the project administration.
• Complete daily activity reports.
• Procurement and assistance in costing/estimating.
• Scheduling and Quality control.
• Technical Reviews, Constructability and Conflicts. Generating technical submittals.
• Safety and Loss Control Program.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other internal and external teammates to complete project deliverables, including business and/or technical writing and preparing materials for presentations.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

• Civil or Construction Engineering diploma or degree with 1-2 years of experience with civil construction or equivalent is required.
• Strong background in heavy civil earthworks, road building and underground utilities.
• Travel is required - A valid drivers license is required.
• A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
• Team player and excellent people skills.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Education:

Civil or Construction Engineering diploma or degree or equivalent.
