Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Administrative Support professional in Calgary to assist the Financial Empowerment team. The role emphasizes CRM coordination, communications, event prep and procurement, with collaboration across departments.

Ideal candidates have a degree or diploma related to business administration or marketing, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with Microsoft 365 and CRM tools. Non-profit sector experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Financial Empowerment Manager and support the team and partners.
  • Coordinate Dynamics 365 CRM and liaise with the IT team.
  • Handle overflow admin work: data entry, communications, event prep, and tech support.
  • Assist with scheduling, formatting, event support, procurement, and other tasks.
  • Support Marketing with scheduling, liaison, formatting, communications and coordination.

Job description

  • Report to the Financial Empowerment Manager and support the Manager, Coordinator, Facilitators, participants, and community partners
  • Play a lead role in supporting the department’s goals of creating systems that are efficient, and accurate and help to tell our story and do our work
  • Be team’s coordinator and support for all things linked to the department’s Dynamics 365 CRM, as well as being the liaison between the Financial Empowerment department and the organization’s IT team
  • Responsible for overflow administrative work from the various program areas of the department such as data entry, participant communications, event preparations, and technical support
  • Assist the Financial Empowerment manager with various tasks like scheduling, formatting, event support, procurement, and others
  • Provide support to the department’s manager and Marketing lead with various administrative tasks, like scheduling, liaising with the Marketing and Communications department, formatting, communications, and coordination of marketing-related efforts.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in a related field such as Business Administration, Office Administration, Marketing, IT, or comparable work experience
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be personable and poised in dealing with others
  • Excellent computer literacy, and preferably experience utilizing tools like Microsoft 365 business suite, Dynamics 365, Mailchimp, Canva, Brightspace, and others
  • Experience with implementation, management and/or administration of databases and/or CRMs
  • Detail-oriented, flexible and unfazed by unforeseen issues
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector is an asset.
