Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a delivery driver to pick up and deliver packages on an assigned route while representing the company in a professional manner. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift heavy packages, and a focus on customer service.

Respondents should be bilingual (French and English) and prepared to work flexible shifts. The position supports FedEx Canada’s service commitments and safety standards on the road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service.
• Provide related customer service functions and maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform accurate inspection of packages and report stop counts and missorts.
• Load the vehicle, plan the route, and operate tracking/dispatch systems securely.
• Seek additional business from current customers and inform sales of leads.
• Ensure packages comply with service features, proper labeling, and paperwork.
• Operate vehicle safely and efficiently, complying with regulations.
• May perform aircraft/container loading/unloading and sorting/scanning of packages.
