You'll operate tracking and dispatch systems, maintain a professional appearance, and seek additional business by informing the sales team of leads and market changes. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Some knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery on an assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada service features.
• Provide related customer service functions.
• Operate safely and efficiently, maintaining a professional image.
• Accurately report stop counts and any missorts.
• Operate computerized tracking and dispatch systems with correct information.
• Inform sales of leads and market changes.
• Ensure proper labeling and tidy paperwork for shipments.
• May perform loading/unloading and sorting/scanning as workload dictates.
