Job summary

Home Instead in Windsor/LaSalle, Ontario is seeking a compassionate Professional Caregiver for weekend shifts. You will provide in-home personal care, assist with light housekeeping, prepare simple meals, offer companionship, and support daily living activities to ensure safety and comfort.

Ideal candidates have PSW/DSW certification (or in progress), weekend availability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• PSW/DSW certification or PSW certification in progress.
• Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Able to provide two professional references.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

We are currently hiring Professional Caregivers to join our team in Windsor/LaSalle and surrounding areas in Essex County.
