Job summary

Home Instead is seeking Professional Caregivers to support clients in Leamington, Kingsville, and surrounding areas in Essex County. This flexible, part-time role offers competitive pay and paid training, with benefits after six months for eligible employees.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and ensuring safety and dignity in daily living. Local residency is preferred, with background checks and references required.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving is preferred.
• Must have good verbal and written English communication.
• Must be able to obtain two professional references.
• Must be able to pass a background check and driving ability is helpful.
• Availability to work every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience (personal or professional) is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Able to provide two professional references.
• Availability to work every other weekend.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
