Job summary

Home Instead is seeking Care Professionals to serve Sarnia and surrounding areas. The role focuses on compassionate non-medical care to help seniors stay in their homes with dignity and support daily living tasks.

Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, grooming assistance, and support with toileting. Shifts include part-time, casual, and overnights. Vaccination proof and safety protocols are required.

Qualifications

• Must be PSW certified or have 1 year of Nursing completed.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
• Complete a criminal background check and provide Two Professional and Two Personal References.
• Possess a valid driver's license and have a reliable vehicle.
• Driver's abstract is required.
• Possess a computer and a cell phone.

Care Professionals needed in the Sarnia and Surrounding areas including Strathroy and Grand Bend.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Companionship and conversation

• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer's Care *Previous experience not necessary but is an asset* *Skills training and ongoing training provided by Home Instead*

Requirements To Be a Care Professional

We have a variety of shifts available and offer a flexible schedule and ask for your flexibility in return as well as a willingness to learn

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Overnights Salary: $20 - $21.50 per hour
