Job Overview:

Under the supervision of the Line Leader or Production Supervisor, the Production Technician is responsible for ensuring equipment is operated safely and correctly, using monitors and gauges. The technician will ensure that equipment operates within process specifications and that high-quality products are produced consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular assessments of manufacturing areas to ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and safety standards. Address observations promptly.
2. Train employees to perform job functions efficiently according to SOPs, including assessment and verification of training.
3. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process evaluations and studies.
4. Develop manufacturing procedures, set machine controls per manuals, oversee production, and inspect processes.
5. Address potential product quality issues immediately, including initial assessment, containment, and escalation.
6. Participate in investigations related to manufacturing processes and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions.
7. Make machine adjustments as needed, support maintenance with troubleshooting deviations.
8. Perform SPC checks as per procedures.
9. Participate in change-over and setup processes to meet efficiency standards.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a college diploma in a related technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced, automated, high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Temperature-controlled and clean workspace.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to heavy machinery, loud noises, forklift traffic, and extreme heat.
