Job Overview:

The QA Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and packaging sold to consumers. This role focuses on maintaining production quality, preventing adulteration or contamination, testing product attributes and packaging integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining facility sanitation. The QA Technician will also lead and guide hourly and salaried lab technicians and sanitation workers.

Rotational Shift - Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in food safety and quality systems.
• Lead plant efforts on product safety programs and issues.
• Conduct regular quality checks and educate production staff on quality standards.
• Ensure ingredients and packaging meet specifications prior to use.
• Maintain food safety standards within the facility.
• Adhere to Give & Go’s quality and food safety standards.
• Analyze and uphold the quality of all products as per procedures.
• Perform GMP audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Ensure high product and packaging quality within budgetary guidelines.
• Promote safety in the workplace through role modeling.
• Recommend manufacturing practice improvements to ensure product safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Recipe for Success:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• 1-3 years of quality assurance experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
• Ability to identify issues and resolve complex problems.
• High energy, resilience, and emotional maturity.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation for travel within Give & Go plant locations.
