Qualifications

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Performance Materials team in Toronto.

The Performance Materials division is at the forefront of the sustainability transformation in plastics. Our experts co-create products with customers to bring innovations to sectors such as transportation, consumer goods, industrial applications, and construction. These solutions contribute to a sustainable future by pushing the boundaries in thermal resistance, robustness, and lightweight applications.

The Production Supervisor will oversee the polyurethane production, including bulk shipping and receiving. They will manage the production team and coordinate with supply chain planners, QC technicians, customer service, and logistics. The role also involves liaising with warehouse operators for raw materials and finished goods, working with maintenance for repairs and preventative maintenance, issuing safe work permits for contractors, and managing inventory, shipping, and receiving decisions.

  • Supervising polyurethane production, including bulk shipping/receiving and team supervision.
  • Interacting with supply chain planners, QC technicians, and warehouse operators for raw materials and finished products.
  • Coordinating maintenance for repairs and preventative tasks.
  • Issuing safe work permits for contractors.
  • Making autonomous decisions regarding inventory, shipping, and receiving.
  • Engaging with external partners like transportation companies and customers.
If you have...
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma with 5+ years of production experience (Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong SAP knowledge.
  • Regulatory knowledge (TDG, WHMIS).
  • Experience with polyurethane production (preferred).
  • Supervisory experience (preferred).
