Production/Logistics Supervisor – Amico Corporation
Richmond Hill, ON

Amico is looking for a Production/Logistics Supervisor in our rapidly growing manufacturing company. Working under the direction of the Production Manager running the day-to-day assembly plant, our ideal candidate must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production department.
2. Maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
3. Increase productivity through 5s and lean manufacturing processes while minimizing costs.
4. Track and optimize production to hit key production metrics.
5. Handle all related employee issues, including coaching, discipline, and performance issues.
6. Be a visible leader with a strong floor presence.
7. Effectively use resources and monitor and adjust to staffing needs.
8. Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members, driving a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

1. Mechanical aptitude for machines required.
2. Experience leading a team.
3. Experience with Wood or Aluminium CNC and tooling is an asset.
4. 5+ years of experience in production floor supervisor positions.
5. 5s or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
6. Knowledge and experience with Ontario Labor Laws and Environmental Health and Safety.

Additional Information:

1. Full time, permanent.
2. 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.
