Job summary
Bailey Metal Products, a Saint-Gobain company, in Edmonton is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, lead safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity, and drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The role requires implementing World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Performance Control Systems (PCS) to improve efficiency, quality, equipment reliability, and waste reduction while achieving targets and business goals.
Qualifications
- 10+ years manufacturing leadership experience with process improvement
- Lean, WCM, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence experience
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production to meet customer and internal requirements
- Monitor quality, safety, delivery, and productivity KPIs
- Lead hiring, training, coaching, performance management and employee relations
- Coordinate safety programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and PCS meetings
- Manage staffing levels and shift schedules; support succession planning
- Foster teamwork and cross-department collaboration
