Job summary

Meridian Manufacturing Inc. in Regina, SK, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate all production activities. You will ensure safe work procedures are followed, maintain quality standards, and communicate production expectations to the team to meet on-time targets.

You will manage Line Leaders and welders, monitor performance, and collaborate with Human Resources to hire and train staff, enforce SOPs, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years minimum experience in production, preferably in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of welding processes or experience in welding manufacturing.
• Experience with MRP software an asset.
• CWB certification and CWB Supervisor certification preferred.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all production-related activities and personnel.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE are followed in the department.
• Maintain product quality inspections and follow up on NCRs.
• Optimize production flow with Line Leaders and meet takt time targets.
• Coach and manage production staff; conduct performance conversations and reviews.
• Work with Human Resources to interview and select new employees; train staff.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and updated; communicate changes to the team.
• Address worker questions or concerns and resolve issues promptly.
