AAA-Canada is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Leader to drive production systems optimization and resource management in a dynamic plant environment. You will lead a diverse team of managers, professionals, and technicians, ensuring process improvements align with quality, cost, and delivery goals.

The role requires a strong background in lean manufacturing, ISO standards, and health & safety, with proven leadership and project management abilities to elevate performance across the sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience managing a manufacturing engineering team.
• Strong project management experience.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 and 14000 standards; health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and control activities related to manufacturing engineering to achieve production, quality, and cost objectives.
• Establish team work standards and ensure optimization of internal processes.
• Lead engineering projects and approve tooling and production equipment designs.
• Develop and maintain documentation for the manufacturing system and performance dashboards.
• Perform budget tracking and cost control; contribute to the sector master plan.
• Promote health, safety, and environment compliance and foster continuous improvement.
