The Role

As the Operations Manager, you will provide leadership and coaching to the site management team to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance. You will be responsible for balancing productivity, continuous improvement, compliance, and team development while partnering with corporate stakeholders to support broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily plant operations to ensure high productivity, efficiency, and consistent product quality.
  • Monitor operational performance, identify gaps or deficiencies, and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy workplace for employees, contractors, and visitors in compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Manage operating expenses and contribute to annual budget adherence.
  • Develop and manage capital projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical support to the local team and collaborate on troubleshooting and process improvements across the business.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven analytical ability and experience with continuous improvement or Lean tools.
