Job summary

Janox FluidPower Ltd., part of Boundary Mining Group, is seeking a Production Coordinator to manage projects from order release through production and delivery in a fast-paced hydraulic manufacturing setting.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Customer Service to keep schedules tight, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure on-time quality.

This role requires strong organizational skills, ERP experience, and a proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in production coordination or similar role.
• Experience in a custom manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules for hydraulic equipment, cylinder manufacturing, and repair projects.
• Coordinate workflow between Engineering, Machining, Welding, Assembly, Testing, and Shipping.
• Release and manage production work orders within the ERP system.
• Review BOMs, drawings, and job documentation to ensure production readiness.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure materials and components arrive on schedule.
• Balance workload with shop leadhands and engineering to maximize production efficiency.
• Communicate project status, delivery timelines, and schedule updates across departments.
• Support inventory planning and material availability for ongoing production.
• Help drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve workflow, communication, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

As the Production Coordinator, you’ll be the central point of communication between Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Customer Service to ensure projects move efficiently through the shop.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who enjoys planning, organizing, and working collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 3 years of experiencein production coordination, production planning, project coordination, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience working in a custommanufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Ability to read engineeringdrawings and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Experience using ERP or MRPsystems to manage work orders and production schedules.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with MicrosoftOffice, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulicsystems, fluid power equipment, machining, welding, fabrication, or industrialmanufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
• APICS or Production Planning certification.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment specializing in hydraulic cylinders, custom hydraulicsystems, and component repair.
• Occasional out-of-town travel, field work, overtime, and weekend work may be required to support customer and operational needs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to50 lbs.
• Fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to stand and walk forextended periods and perform work in a manufacturing shop environment.
