Job summary

Wave seeks an operations-focused professional to own and drive day-to-day execution for a product line within a regulated financial services environment in Canada. You will collaborate with Product Directors, Operations, and Tech teams to implement updates and ensure operational readiness.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into actionable plans, leading testing, maintaining SOPs, and driving automation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in banking, financial services, operations, or lending.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operations owner for an assigned product line.
• Partner with Product Directors, Operations leaders, and Technology teams to implement products and changes.
• Translate product requirements into operational plans with workflows, readiness checklists, dependencies, risks, and timelines.
• Execute end-to-end product launches with readiness across systems, processes, documentation, controls, and downstream impacts.
• Lead operational testing and validation activities for your product, including functional testing and end-to-end scenario testing.
• Own and maintain product-specific operating procedures with accurate, current documentation.
• Identify opportunities for automation, tooling improvements, and process efficiencies with cross-functional teams.
• Build and execute operational monitoring and audit routines, including controls and reconciliations.
• Act as subject matter expert for product operations, supporting issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Provide clear updates and insights to leadership on readiness status, risks, defects, and outcomes related to product changes.
