ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join our Research & Development Engineering team to execute our long-term strategic plan. Our main challenges include reducing costs, improving existing products, and developing new ones.

You will lead or participate in projects related to product improvement, machinery development, cost reduction, automation, and tooling development. You will serve as a technical resource for our clients, troubleshooting issues in the field or participating in wind tunnel testing.

You will also support the Director of Engineering with departmental tasks such as project and budget management, SR&ED documentation, patents, purchase orders, and more. Additionally, you'll have opportunities to support other team members.

ABOUT YOU

You are passionate about professional challenges and want to positively impact greenhouse gas reduction in transportation. You are innovative, curious, and creative. You possess the following qualities:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (knowledge in aerodynamics and/or manufacturing is an asset);
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
• 5-10 years of progressive experience;
• Knowledge of and compliance with SST conditions;
• Willingness to travel abroad (mainly to the U.S.) occasionally (3-4 times/year) per current Public Health guidelines;
• Proficiency with SolidWorks.
