Job summary

Tolko is seeking a Product Coordinator for OSB at its Vernon, BC office. This role focuses on coordinating product supply, inventory, and relationships to maximize resources and ensure on-time shipments.

The ideal candidate has post-secondary education in business/forestry/manufacturing or equivalent, with strong communication skills, a self-starter attitude, and experience in Excel, Outlook, and basic accounting principles. Forestry knowledge is a plus.

• Respond quickly and proactively to supply and demand shifts via market allocation processes.
• Apply problem-solving skills to suggest changes to orders when production cannot meet the order file.
• Liaise with sales and agents to align on customer requirements.

We’re looking for a Product Coordinator-OSB to join our head office located in Vernon, British Columbia. Our head office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in business, forestry, manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A motivated self-starter and collaborative team player.
• Experience providing positive customer experience, with proven relationship and conflict management
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide multiple solutions to a given challenge.
• High level of ability in Outlook (email management) and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of up and down stream supply chain structure.
• Experience using a sales system (AX or other).
• Experience in forestry or wood products is an asset.
