Job summary

Tolko Industries Ltd. is seeking an Application Support Specialist to support Sales, Marketing and Logistics at the Vernon, BC head office. You will work with IT, Finance, Procurement, and HR to resolve incidents and optimize business processes.

The role requires 3+ years in customer service and application support, ITIL knowledge, and strong communication. In-office, with relocation and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service and application or systems support experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident, problem and change management.
• Experience supporting clients in medium to large business environments.
• Strong business concepts and process understanding with technical systems experience.
• Exposure to finance, work management, inventory, order-to-cash, and CRM processes.
• ERP familiarity with Dynamics 365 or JD Edwards is an asset.
• Self-starter with collaborative, solution-focused approach and discretion with sensitive data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage incidents and service requests for Sales, Marketing, and Logistics using Dynamics AX.
• Manage incidents and service requests for Finance, Procurement, and Maintenance using JD Edwards.
• Coordinate support from internal resources, vendors, and consultants.
• Diagnose issues and track requests to resolve technical and operational problems.
• Provide remote, in-person, and desktop assistance.
• Communicate issue resolutions and status updates to stakeholders.
• Develop documentation and participate in training and QA testing.
• Support reporting and optimize system resource usage.

We’re looking for anApplication Support Specialistto join our head office inVernon, British Columbia. Here, you’ll be part of Tolko’s corporate service group, collaborating with Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement, and Human Resources.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• 3+ years’experience incustomer service and application or systems supportin a support role or equivalent.
• Demonstrated understanding of ITIL Procedures, includingincident, problem, and change management.
• Provenclient/customer supportexperience in a medium to large business environment.
• Broad-based business skills and acumen.
• Strong understanding ofbusiness concepts and processes, combined withtechnical systems experience.
• Experience withfinance, work management, inventory, order to cash, andcustomer relationshipprocesses.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, or JD Edwards is an asset.

In this role, you will:

  • Implement and maintaineffective support processesto ensure timely issue resolution and process improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentationfor incident tracking and solutions.
  • Assist in maximizing the strategic use of system capabilities and the application support function.
