Job summary

GVF Group of Companies in Cambridge, Ontario is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support day-to-day procurement, inbound logistics, and inventory communication across Production, Warehouse, Finance, and Operations. You will create and manage purchase orders in our ERP, monitor supplier lead times, address shortages, and help optimize lead times and inventory levels while ensuring data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong computer skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail, with strong follow-through.
• Strong communication skills with suppliers and internal teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to escalate when needed.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day purchasing activities for ingredients, finished goods, and supplies.
• Create, issue, update, and track purchase orders in our ERP system.
• Monitor inventory levels and supplier lead times to maintain reliable supply.
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery dates, shortages, pricing, and documents.
• Coordinate inbound delivery information with suppliers, carriers, warehouse, production, and procurement.
