At Interpro Pipe & Steel, the Process Specialist will provide process technical support to Red Deer Quality Manager and operations in areas involving quality and inspection planning associated with production orders. The Process Specialist is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve company's final products and processes to meet established quality standards and is responsible for ensuring that customer expectations are translated to production order requirements, inspection and test plans are reflective of customer and industry requirements and that the operations team understands our resulting product performance KPI's (first pass yield, rework rate, downgrade rate, etc.). The Process Specialist is responsible for identifying opportunities for innovation and recommending improvements to pipe mill processes, heat treatment, threading and finishing so that the product quality and performance are improved, and identifies process control and product performance issues, recommends solutions, and participates in improvement projects by utilizing statistical tools and data driven solutions.
