Job summary

Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. is seeking a Production Worker for our Edmonton facility. The role involves operating multiple lines, deburring, loading/unloading, and maintaining safety while meeting quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 or equivalent and may have experience with equipment; basic math skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office are a plus. Our team values growth and offers apprenticeship opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent required.
  • Experience operating equipment preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate saw, yard or paint line equipment and manage loading/unloading for finished products.
  • Perform deburr tasks and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Work safely and with environmental responsibility.
  • Support the facility’s Vision, Mission and Objectives.
  • Follow pertinent quality system procedures and policies.
  • Ensure proper water treatment discharge complies with legislation.
  • Physically lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent grasping, lifting, bending and twisting is required.
  • Coordinate and lead the operation’s workforce to ensure safe practices and product quality standards.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Operate forklift as needed.

Job Description and Responsibilities

The Production Worker will be assigned to a position within the Edmonton facility that may include one of the following:

  • Saw, Yard or Paint line Operator - responsible for operating, monitoring, loading and unloading equipment that paints and dries threaded couplings into a finished product
  • Deburrer
  • Work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
  • Work in support of the Vision, Mission and Objectives
  • Follow the pertinent quality system procedures and policies
  • Ensure proper water treatment discharge is in accordance with legislation
  • Physically able to lift weights up to 50 lbs
  • Continuous grasping, lifting, bending and twisting
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics
  • Accountable to make improvements or corrections in line with the performance measures relative to the goals of the plant operations
  • Coordinate and lead the operation’s workforce to ensure safe work practices and product quality standards are met
  • Routine and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Forklift Operation
Requirements

A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent education will be considered

Preferred Assets

Experience in operating equipment and being mechanically inclined

Demonstration of proficiency with computer systems to include Microsoft Office will be considered

Will constantly and consistently push self and others to be top performers and exceed goals

Ability to present the facts in an appropriate and helpful manner
