Job summary

Ausenco is seeking a Process EIT to join the Minerals and Metals team in Vancouver. You will support senior process engineers, develop basic process designs, and perform mass and water balances as part of the design effort.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, strong analytical skills, and a proactive, learning mindset. BC EIT designation and 2–4 years since graduation are preferred; operating/commissioning exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in metallurgy or chemical/mining engineering or equivalent.
• EIT designation in BC is required.
• 2–4 years' post-graduation experience preferred; operating company or commissioning exposure is a plus.
• Flexibility in work assignments and willingness to learn across mining
• Strong written and oral communication; good analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Assist senior process engineers in executing process design development and report writing.
• Develop basic process engineering designs and drawings under supervision.
• Perform mass and water balances and develop design criteria.
