Job summary
Ausenco in Vancouver is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and contribute to the execution of projects in conceptual and engineering phases for our Mineral & Metals team. You will work with project managers, engineers, designers, and drafters to deliver results to Ausenco and client standards.
The role requires a P.Eng in BC, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in mineral processing or heavy industrial EPC environments, strong leadership, and familiarity with power
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a Canada or internationally recognized University.
- Registered as a P.Eng. in the Province of British Columbia.
- 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in mineral processing or heavy industrial settings.
- Experience within an EPC environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership and ability to manage multi-office projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the execution of projects in conceptual and engineering phases.
- Prepare and review engineering studies, calculations, and specifications for electrical distribution.
- Develop one-line diagrams, power distribution and control schemes, and layouts.
- Review vendor drawings and witness factory acceptance tests.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical support to the team.
