Job summary

Irving Consumer Products in Toronto, ON, is seeking a Process and Technology Leader - Papermaking to shape a multi-year excellence roadmap across our papermaking operations. The role combines technology evaluation, process improvement, and coaching across sites.

You will identify and implement new papermaking technologies, drive improvements in OEE, capacity, quality, and cost, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Product Development to deliver sustainable results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, papermaking & converting operations, process improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of papermaking processes, equipment, and quality systems.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a multi-year papermaking process excellence roadmap.

Responsibilities
