Job summary

The Glencoe Club in Calgary is seeking a full-time Golf Professional to lead the indoor Golf Centre at the Downtown location. You will deliver lessons, clinics, camps, and leagues, and manage simulators, hitting areas, and bookings while building strong member relationships.

You will oversee the Golf Centre operations, enhance participation, and collaborate across the club to align programs with organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a skilled golf coach or instructor.
• Active PGA of Canada membership with commitment to ongoing development.
• Knowledge of golf simulators, launch monitor technology, and instructional tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver golf lessons, clinics, camps, leagues, and programming for members of varying ages and skill levels.
• Create a welcoming Golf Centre experience with strong member relationships and responsive feedback handling.
• Oversee day-to-day Golf Centre operations: simulators, hitting areas, bookings, and equipment.
• Maintain facilities and equipment to safety and presentation standards, coordinating repairs as needed.
• Monitor participation, utilization, revenue, and programming effectiveness for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate on budgets, program development and facility needs; support simulator leagues and initiatives.
• Build partnerships across the Club and Glencoe Golf & Country Club for consistent member experiences.
