Job summary

St Joseph's Parish School in Weipa is seeking a Principal for a Full-Time, fixed-term leadership role of six years.   • Demonstrated administrative ability.
  • Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability in curriculum development with reference to Religious Education.
  • Written and verbal communication skills of a high order.
  • Commitment to Pastoral Care of the school community.
  • Skills for building community including facilitation, delegation and consultation.
  • Registered or eligible to register with Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Strong commitment to Catholic Education's objectives, vision and ethos.

Commencing: 16 January 2027

Employment Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Senior Leadership position (6-year contract)

This position holds a Permanent Substantive Teacher Position within the Cairns Diocese

Salary Range: Paid in accordance as per the Diocese of Cairns, Catholic Education - Principals' Agreement
