Job summary

St Andrew's Catholic College, a P-12 co-educational school on a 25 ha site in the Redlynch Valley, seeks an Assistant Principal - Staff (Prep-12). The role ensures the day‑to‑day operation of the College with a focus on Learning and Teaching and the wellbeing of all who access the College, within a Catholic education framework.

This is a full‑time, fixed‑term position of five years, with a salary range AP1–AP3 and 12.75% super. Commencement is 18 January 2027; closing date 14 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in education.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Commitment to Catholic Education principles.
• Registered or eligible with Queensland College of Teachers.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the College.
• Ensure Learning and Teaching quality and wellbeing of all members.
• Prioritise safety, order and effective communication within the College.
