Job summary

Highlight Motor Group in Vaughan is seeking a Pricing Coordinator to develop competitive pricing strategies, prepare quotations, analyze costs, and ensure pricing compliance across logistics operations.

You will collaborate with logistics and sales, monitor market trends, negotiate with carriers, and mentor junior coordinators in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in pricing or operations within logistics, freight forwarding, or trucking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit customer quotations (RFPs and RFQs) for over the road services domestics and cross-border loads.
• Coordinate with logistics and sales to ensure pricing aligns with service capabilities and margins.
• Monitor market trends, carrier rate changes, and fuel surcharges to adjust pricing strategies.
• Conduct competitor pricing analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve win rates.
• Perform margin and cost analysis for each quote to ensure profitability.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, rate sheets, and tariffs.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for the pricing workflow.
• Act as pricing SME to internal teams and key accounts.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Pricing Coordinator whose main objective will be to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction is preserved by developing competitive pricing strategies, preparing accurate freight quotations, analyzing cost structures, and ensuring pricing compliance across logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit customer quotations (RFPs and RFQs) for over the road services both domestics and cross-border loads.
• Maintaining professional communication during RFQ process regarding cost strategy and ensuring best pricing at each proposal
• Coordinate with logistics and sales team to ensure pricing aligns with service capabilities and margins.
• Monitor market trends, carrier rate changes, and fuel surcharges to adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
• Conduct competitor pricing analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve win rates.
• Perform margin and cost analysis for each quote to ensure profitability.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, rate sheets, and tariffs.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for the pricing workflow.
• Act as a pricing subject matter expert to internal teams and key accounts.

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years in pricing or operations, within logistics, freight forwarding, or trucking.
• Exposure to LTL, FTL, intermodal, and cross-border pricing is a MUST.
• Familiarity with RFPs/RFQs, spot quotes.
• Collaboration with carriers to secure rates and maintain partnerships.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to handle high-volume requests under tight deadlines.
• Problem-solving when quotes fall outside of our standard network.
• Experience working with Load Link and UFOS programs (asset)
• Strong knowledge of computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Ability to make decisions quickly
• Fluency in verbal/written English
• Mentorship and guidance of junior pricing coordinators.
