Job summary

Fastfrate Group in Woodbridge, Ontario is seeking a pricing analyst to support quoting, rate programs, and pricing solutions across TL, LTL, rail, and cross-border shipments. You will work with leadership to ensure timely, high-value proposals.

The role focuses on market trends, competitive pricing, and developing costed proposals while maintaining strong carrier relationships and accurate cost strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years logistics experience in the transportation industry.
• Experience in cross-border shipping, full-truckload as well as less-than-truckload.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight rates with carriers for domestic and cross-border TL and LTL, rail, road, air.
• Work closely with leadership and business development to develop compliant cost/prices strategies and proposals.
• Create customer proposals.
• Maintain professional communication with leadership throughout the RFQ process on cost strategies and ensure best pricing is presented in each proposal.
• Research and track competitor pricing and market trends.
• Maintain and improve existing pricing processes and costs.
• Respond quickly to spot quotes.
• Uploading rates and maintenance of rate programs in TMS software.
• Be available after hours to assist with resolving pricing issues.
• Grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships.
• Perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Role Summary:

This role keeps a pulse on market trends, responds quickly to quoting needs, maintains rate programs, and collaborates closely with leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and high‑value pricing solutions.
