Job summary

Sodexo Canada Ltd is seeking a Prep Cook at Providence University College in Otterburne, MB. You will assist in meal prep for students, faculty and staff, following recipes and portion controls.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma, a Food Handler's Certificate and dedication to food safety. Shifts include days, evenings and weekends; compensation is CAD 17.50 per hour with benefits and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Handler's Certificate required.
• Culinary training or relevant coursework preferred.
• Prior experience in food service or commercial kitchen settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and portions according to recipes.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following sanitation standards.
• Assist in storage and rotation of food items to minimize waste.
• Support teammates to ensure timely meal service.
• Assist in inventory and restocking tasks.
• Prepare meals for catered events or special dietary requirements.
