Job summary

GardaWorld in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Premier Corporate Security Guard to protect and represent a globally recognized organization. You will deliver concierge level service while providing proactive security leadership for employees, executives, VIP guests, and visitors.

As the face of the site, you will manage VIP arrivals, monitor CCTV, assist with directions and inquiries, and work with Facilities, IT and Front Desk to address security needs.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada and able to work in Vancouver.
• Valid BC Security Worker License (or equivalent).
• OFA2 First Aid Certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years in security, concierge, hospitality or customer service.
• Exceptional service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, visitor management and reporting.
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic tech systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and sound judgment throughout duties.

Responsibilities

As the Premier Corporate Security Guard, you will play a key role in protecting and representing one of the world’s most prestigious and globally recognized organizations. Responsibilities for Premier Corporate Security Guard

Deliver a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience, assisting employees and visitors with directions, building information, accessibility support, and general inquiries.

Serve as a concierge for employees and executives, building strong relationships and supporting daily operations.

Manage VIP arrivals discreetly, anticipate needs, maintain confidentiality, and provide exceptional service.

Monitor CCTV systems, respond to incidents, and review footage to support investigations and reporting.

Conduct proactive security patrols, identify and mitigate safety and security risks, and document corrective actions.

Lead Security Guards in day-to-day operations, ensuring professional and timely service.

Support access control and visitor management, including badges, turnstiles, door alarms, and tailgating prevention.

Partner with Facilities, IT, HR/P&C, and Front Desk teams to address security concerns and operational needs.

Assist with emergency response, drills, medical incidents, and first aid coordination.

De-escalate challenging situations, triage requests, and ensure timely, accurate incident reporting.

Qualifications for Premier Corporate Security Guard

Authorized to work in Canada.

Valid BC Security Worker License.

Intermediate First Aid Certification (OFA2) - Required

2+ years of experience in security, concierge, hospitality, or customer service.

Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with CCTV monitoring, access control, visitor management, and incident reporting.

Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic phone/computer systems.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

• Must be reliable, professional, and able to pass a criminal record check.
