Job summary

GardaWorld Vancouver is seeking a Corporate Security Guard to protect people and property in a modern corporate setting. You’ll be the face of security, delivering exceptional customer service while monitoring access and patrolling premises.

This full‑time role offers a fixed schedule (32 hours per week), a competitive wage of $21.00/hour, GardaWorld Academy training, and clear pathways to security leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid BC security worker license.
• First aid certification - OFA1 required (or higher).
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Perform computer tasks
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Answer questions in person or by phone
