Job summary
Tremcar in Canada is seeking a skilled welder for fabrication and assembly in a manufacturing setting. You will interpret welding specifications, read blueprints, and operate welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts using aluminum alloys and stainless steel.
The role requires 2–3 years of welding experience, physical stamina, and strong attention to detail. Evening shifts are available with benefits including health care and DPSP. Own transportation is preferred.
Qualifications
- Interpret welding process specifications and read blueprints.
- 2–3 years of welding experience in fabrication/manufacturing.
- Physically capable of handling heavy loads and standing long periods.
Responsibilities
- Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints.
- Operate manual, semi-automatic or fully automated welding equipment.
- Read and interpret welding drawings, specifications and manuals.
- Examine welds to ensure compliance with standards.
- Operate brakes, shears and metal shaping machines.
- Assess weldability of materials and select appropriate processes.
- Set up and operate hoisting and lifting equipment; fabricate/repair parts.
