Perma Corp in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a Fabrication Welder to join our metal fabrication team. The role focuses on fabrication and welding of aluminum components, with a hands-on, physical workload and a teamwork-oriented environment.

You’ll operate shop equipment, read drawings, and ensure quality standards while progressing through apprenticeship opportunities and ongoing training. A safety-conscious approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication of aluminum components.
• Able to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Physical fitness to move materials up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious work habits.
• English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld aluminum components based on drawings.
• Operate welders, saws, shears, and bending machines.
• Check finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Move and handle materials safely around the shop.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects efficiently.
