Actualisation: HR Solutions for Businesses seeks an experienced assembler-welder to manufacture and assemble metal parts according to drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, preparing parts, welding with TIG or MIG, inspecting welds, and using grinding and forming tools while following safety standards.

Applicants should hold a DVS in welding or equivalent, be comfortable reading technical diagrams, and work in a physically demanding environment in Quebec.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in welding and assembly, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in welding techniques (TIG, MIG, coated electrode) and assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Knowledge of metallic materials and their properties.
• Ability to use welding and assembly tools and equipment with precision.
• Compliance with safety standards and work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
• Preparation of parts to be welded, including grinding, fitting and assembly.
• Use welding equipment (TIG, MIG, coated electrode, etc.) to assemble metal parts.
• Visual inspection of welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Use of cutting, grinding and forming tools and machines.
