Job summary

Moeller Precision Tool in Ayr, ON is seeking a Surface Grinder / Wire EDM Operator (Tool & Die) for a climate-controlled shop.

Set up and operate manual surface grinding and Wire EDM equipment, read blueprints, perform precision grinding, and verify parts with measuring tools.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM with overtime. Pay: $22.00–$29.00/hr plus benefits, vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machining, surface grinding, tool & die, or Wire EDM experience.
• Hands-on with surface grinding equipment and Wire EDM preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual surface grinding equipment.
• Perform precision grinding of tool steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to machine precision components.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
