Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to provide leadership for project staff and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include safety, quality control, and developing field plans and schedules while delegating work to field staff, contractors and trades to keep projects on time and within budget. The role emphasizes managing safety, keeping to plans, and coordinating with the Project Manager to align with project objectives and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Powerline Technician certification required.
• 15+ years experience in powerline construction with at least 5+ years in a superintendent capacity.
• Combination of field experience and trade certification/education.
• Experience on industrial/oil & gas, or mining projects and assets.

Responsibilities

• Hire and manage hourly workers to meet project goals with Project Manager input.
• Ensure site safety measures meet corporate safety standards and authorities.
• Ensure projects follow approved plans, codes, and budget; optimize labor/material efficiency.
• Maintain and update construction schedule; meet milestones and completion dates.
• Plan and execute system completion and turnover.
• Submit detailed hourly timesheets for job costing/reporting.
• Prepare field change orders for owner/sign-off.
