Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee day-to-day field operations, establish and monitor performance targets for multiple trades, and lead a team of superintendents. You will ensure safety, scheduling, budget, and quality control while driving long-term project objectives across large-scale initiatives in Canada.

The role requires extensive experience in powerline construction and strong leadership skills to manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of powerline construction experience in a strategic or direct management role.
• Ability to communicate effectively and mentor diverse teams.
• Strong understanding of construction practices, contracts, costs and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Ensures resources for project completion and safety compliance across multiple trades.
• Leads development of complex project schedules and resource management.
• Oversees procurement, subcontracting, and supplier negotiations.
• Leads safety initiatives and regular safety meetings with senior management.
• Guides project staff and managers to meet organizational objectives.
